The Little Falls Drama Club will present Beauty and the Beast March 9 and March 10, 2018 at 7:30 PM in the high school auditorium.
The classic story tells of Belle (Sarah Sagatis), a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast (Elijah Shibley), who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
Belle and the Beast are supported by a cast of characters sure to delight. Lumiere (Anthony Vespasiano), Cogsworth (Seth Rosario), Mrs. Potts (Natalie Wohlfert) and her son Chip (Braden McCumber/Galen Straney), Babette (Emily Gehring) and Madame de la Grande Bouche (Alyssa Wilks) are servants in the Beast's castle and are slowly turning into objects.
Meanwhile, Gaston (Carlin Straney) and his goofy sidekick LeFou (Matthew Gray) are consipring with Monsier D'Arque (Isaiah Oord) to lock Belle's father, Maurice (Anthony Rounds) away unless Belle agrees to marry Gaston.
